Cross-Program Invocations

CPIs

Cross-Program Invocations allow programs to call other programs.

Two Types

  1. invoke() — For instructions that don't need PDA signers
  2. invoke_signed() — For instructions that need PDA signers

CPIs pass the caller's privileges to the callee.
